The San Jose Sharks have once again been eliminated from the Western Conference Finals. It’s really tough to say this season was a success, and in all honesty it wasn’t. You can try to be optimistic about everything and say, “hey, there’s 26 other teams at home wishing they could be in our position.” But for a franchise who continues to fail when it matters the most, it’s a tough sell. I grew up a Sharks fan, favorite Shark of all time would probably be a tie between Owen Nolan & Patrick Marleau. However, it’s been draining over the years to see a team succeed during the regular season, but crumble come playoff time. Another reason I pay no attention during the regular season. Where the Canucks a better team? Yes. They were faster, more aggressive, and there skilled players were on point. But for a team that continues to make the playoffs year after year, you’d figure we were due at some point. We will forever be judged by our performance in the playoffs, better luck next year guys.
